A juicer, usually referred to as a juice extractor, is a device used in the juicing process to extract juice from fruits, herbs, leafy greens, and other kinds of vegetables. The pulp is crushed, ground, and/or squeezed to release the juice. For leafy greens, masticating juicers operate best because they produce large amounts of dry pulp, which results in less wasted juice and long-term cost savings. Your best bet may be a high-quality, reasonably priced centrifugal juicer if you’ll just be juicing fruits and hard vegetables.
